I finally got annoyed enough with my 20D and its rather annoying scratch on the sensor and gone out and splurged on a 40D, i've been liking it so far, hopefully i'll get some photos online soon.

OMG, where to start..... well im sure alot of you have already read about it in `nyssi's journal, anyway....

`nyssi came down to Adelaide from the 25th of June and went back to Brisbane on the 30th, i caught up with her Thurs-Sun, it was awesome, i dont think i've had a solid weekend of fun like that in a long time.

Thursday i met (albeit a tiny bit late) `nyssi & ~dreamheaven in the city and we proceeded on for a coffee, lunch then the Botanic Gardens, lots of fun was had, mainly at eachothers expense, me lying on the ground to get low enough for a few shots, Nyssa dancing through the archways, hmmm cant think of something Kel done, we finished up at Cocolate, and had some awesome cakes and coffee.

Friday we all headed off to McLaren Vale, kindly driven by `adam1975 which is said with utmost gratitude since we did go wine tasting and he had to remain sober and put up with us all day, we started out at a lolly/chocolate shop where we all picked up some goodies, i got some Berry Gels and some dried apple slices, Nyssa got some Turkish Delights and Kel got some Chocolate coated snakes, im not sure what else they got though. The wineries were great, we started at Penny's Hill and we took some photos through the yard, from there the camera got taken out less and less, apart from at one lookouty place where we all went snap happy for a while. I bought myself a bottle of Rosemount Show Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, it was delicious at the time and went down rather nicely Friday night. We ended up having some cheese and wine at the last winery we went to then came back to mine for a few drinks and some Wii!! I claim no responsibilities for any injuries that occured, but everyone enjoyed themselves playing on the sports (we didnt manage to play anything else) with Tennis, Bowling, Baseball & Boxing being played.

Saturday night we went out to town for dinner then stayed out for drinks at various places, we had an awesome time we could say we were bad influences on each other I hope any bruises and sore spots have healed up by now

Sunday was meh, i crashed back at Kel & Adam's, poor Nyssa had to head out for lunch with her Aunt and Kel had a huge headache from a nasty slip where she hit her head.

I gave Nyssa my 20D and my unused lenses (doorstops?) on the Fri night, i've already seen some of her work and its taken her no time to get to grips with jumping up to an dSLR, but really i wasn't suprised.

Just this Monday i started working at Optus in the Sales Call Centre as a Concierge Representative, fancy name for a simple job, pretty much i'll be filtering and directing calls on a switchboard and making sure people get directed to where they need to go, sales, customer service, tech support etc etc. Its been great so far, just have to get used to the different hours.
